Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Breathing 4A Reason, LLC ("B4R," "we," "us," or "our") website, booking services, client portal, or any coaching and peer-support sessions, you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

B4R provides peer-support, life coaching, and wellness community services centered on faith, healing, community, and hope. These services are educational and supportive in nature.

B4R services are NOT a substitute for professional mental health treatment, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice. Coaching and peer-support sessions are not therapy, psychotherapy, or counseling provided by a licensed clinician, even if the founder or staff hold separate professional credentials in other capacities.

3. Crisis Situations

B4R is not equipped to handle emergencies or crisis situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, suicidal thoughts, or any life-threatening situation, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911 immediately.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book services independently. Clients under 18 may participate only with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

5. Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate, current information during intake and registration.
Complete required intake paperwork prior to your first session.
Attend scheduled sessions on time, or provide notice of cancellation per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Use B4R services in a manner that is respectful of staff and other community members.

6. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, because B4R provides peer-support and coaching (not licensed clinical therapy), communications are not protected by therapist-client privilege or HIPAA in the same manner as licensed clinical care. Limits to confidentiality also apply where there is risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a minor or vulnerable adult, or as required by law.

7. Payments & Billing

Fees for sessions, programs, and courses are due as described at the time of booking through our client portal.
Accepted payment methods and current pricing are provided at booking or in your client portal.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the B4R website, client portal, courses (including "Live to Be Alive"), branding, logos, graphics, and materials are the property of Breathing 4A Reason, LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breathing 4A Reason, LLC, its founder, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, website, or client portal. Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Termination

B4R reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to services or the client portal for any client who violates these Terms, engages in abusive behavior toward staff or other community members, or for any other reason at our discretion.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
